We have redesigned this workshop so that you can enjoy it from the comfort and safety of your own home thanks to Zoom! Numbers are restricted so that we can really focus on your learning! We advise that you download the App onto your laptop and position the camera so that the screen shows you work as well as your face please.

Annie designed this workshop as a follow on from The Introduction to the Annie Sloan Method, although you do not need to have completed that workshop in order to do this one.

The aim of this workshop is to make you feel at home using techniques that complement your existing knowledge to create striking decorative effects for your projects. We work on wooden boards, creating a Modern look.

Themes covered:

• A cool two tone ombre paint application, a more textured finish and a cracked paint look which forms a base for your work.

• Master a simple way to achieve a textured paint finish.

• Image transfer methods. This is a more subtle method of achieving a convincing painted image look without even lifting a paint laden brush!

• Some effective use of stencils. Annie included this technique to become aware of the quick and easy tool you have at hand to develop quite intricate patterns with paint in a super innovative way.

• To finish, a demonstration of an ageing technique to add that final touch.

As it is an introduction to these techniques, you need no prior knowledge or experience.
